About Me

Well, hello there!

I am sure if you are reading my blog you already know who I am!

However, incase you don't, here is a little bit about me:

My name is Alyssa Caroline Baker

and I am 22 years old.

My birthday is November 26,

so yes, I am my parent's little Thanksgiving baby!

I was born in Wilmington, NC (beach girl at heart)

but moved to Greensboro, NC a few years later where

my family has lived for the past 19 years.

I have two amazing parents, Cindy and Richard,

who are my role models day in and day out.

They have taught me the foundation of love, hard work, and respect

which are three things I will carry with me forever.

I am blessed to have one amazing "little" sister named

Kristen who is 18 years old and a rising freshmen at UNC Charlotte.
I have the world's most amazing boyfriend, Josh, who I have been
so lucky to share the past three years with! 

I graduated high school in 2009 where the following fall I moved

to my new home: The University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

While at UNC Charlotte, I was involved in several

organizations on campus:

Zeta Tau Alpha

Student Government Association

Kappa Delta Pi Education Honors Society

National Society of Collegiate Scholars

Sigma Alpha Lamba Honors Society

Student Union Advisory Board

Campus Crusade

Who's Who Among American College's and Universities 

I graduated in May with a degree in Elementary Education

and my minor in American History. I was blessed to graduate

with two honors: Cum Laude and Collegiate Scholars.

I am so excited to see the country this next year and to meet my Zeta Sisters
from all over! Being a TLC is truly my dream job and I 
grow more excited everyday to have this experience and 
to be able to grow daily as an individual!
